MAYFIELD, KY – The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) was requested by the Graves County Sherriff’s Office and the Mayfield Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Mayfield on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at approximately 10:00 p.m. CST at a hotel on Housman St.

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: A phone scam has resurfaced in Laurel County where the caller(s) is identifying himself as Sgt. Brett Reeves.

PIKEVILLE, KY – The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky reports that a Harold, Ky., man, Christopher Hall, 26, was sentenced on Wednesday, by Chief U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves, to 50 years in prison, for production and distribution of child pornography.
