LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Reed along with K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Tate Cunagin age 22 of London on Wednesday night August 14, 2024 at approximately 8:27 PM.
The arrest occurred at a residence off Robinson Rd. East, approximately 4 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a complaint of an out-of-control subject there.
Upon arrival at the complaint scene deputies noted that they observed the suspect running across the yard stumbling and that they conducted an investigation noting that he had slurred speech and the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from him.
While speaking with the individual he began to curse creating a disturbance in the neighborhood.
Tate Cunagin was charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
