Wayne Wagers, 60, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, June 5th, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Thomas, KY. Wayne was born in Red Bird, KY on December 16, 1962, a son of the late Tommy and Kathleen May Wagers.
Paul Collins
Mr. Paul Douglas Collins, age 66 went to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Monday, December 3, 1956 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Charlie and Loretta Mays Collins. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was of the Baptist faith.
Stanford “Hoss” Hoskins
Stanford “Hoss” Hoskins, age 71, of Manchester, died June 4th at the Pikeville Medical Center following a brief illness. Hoss was a retired coal miner working for Shamrock Coal and Perry County Coal for over 25 years. After retirement he opened a small lawnmower repair shop as a hobby near his home. Hoss, as he was commonly known, loved to sit and talk with everyone that came by looking for a lawnmower or a part. Hoss was a very giving man as many times he performed work free of charge to those in need of repairs.
Earl Ray Smith
Earl Ray Smith, 62, of Lexington, KY, passed away Saturday, June 3rd, at his home. Earl was born in Leslie County, KY, on January 17th, 1961, a son of the late Earl and Laddie Smith.
Amanda Lyn Coffey, 40, of Bayfield, CO, passed away Sunday, May 28th, 2023. Amanda was born in Carlsbad, NM on April 16, 1983, a daughter of Richard and Linda Baker Riley.
Cecil Craft
Mr. Cecil James Craft, age 86 went to his heavenly home on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on Wednesday, February 17, 1937 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of John H. and Mattie Lewis Craft.
He worked for the Clay County Board of Education as a principal at Hacker Elementary School as well as a teacher. Cecil also was a Kentucky Colonel, attended the Shady Grove Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
