LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Cyruss McVey arrested Lisa Baker, age 43 of Corbin early Thursday morning March 13, 2025 at approximately 4:42 AM.
The arrest occurred on West Cumberland Gap Parkway approximately 12 miles south of London after Deputy McVey was dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a complaint of a female subject allegedly dancing in traffic and talking to herself on Highway 770 in southern Laurel County.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy McVey located the subject and noted that he observed her dancing in the roadway as vehicles were going around her.
An investigation was conducted and the subject was identified as Lisa Baker, age 43 of Corbin, KY and she was determined to be under the influence. Baker was placed under arrest and transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Lisa Baker was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
