LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Taylor McDaniel arrested two individuals on Wednesday afternoon April 9, 2025 at approximately 3:54 PM.
The arrests occurred off Broad Street in London after Sheriff's investigators found two individuals illegally inside a residence there.
One of the individuals taken into custody stated that she just went inside the residence to use their Wi-Fi.
Investigators determined that the two individuals were both under the influence. Deputies located several glass pipes in the female subject’s bag she had in her possession.
The two arrested individuals were identified as:
Sheila Smith, age 47 of Esther Ln., London, KY -charged with:
- Burglary third-degree
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
David Jordan, age 56 of W. 10th St., London, KY -charged with:
- Burglary – third-degree
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
