Arthur "Bud" Hubbard, 78, of Manchester, KY, passed away Friday, November 24th, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, KY. Bud was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 22, 1945, a son of the late George and Allie Smith Hubbard. He was a retired coal miner from Shamrock Coal Company.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Hubbard.
Bud is survived by his children: Freddie Hubbard and wife Sherry, Elbert Hubbard and wife Helen, Russell Hubbard and wife Wanda, Gary Hubbard and wife Amy, Donald Hubbard and wife Anna, Linda Smith and husband Bradley, and Arthur Bradley Hubbard and wife Crystal.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Patrick Hubbard, Swayze Hubbard, Ashley Hubbard, Eric Hubbard, Alex Hubbard, Cody Hubbard, D. J. Hubbard, Kayden Hubbard, Haley Jo Spurlock, Logan Martin, Destiney Smith, Addison Smith, Emily Hubbard, and Breanna Hubbard; 5 great-grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters: Norma Jean Seals of Richmond, IN, Marjorie Cruse of Richmond, IN, Carolyn Brock of Manchester, Kenneth Hubbard of Pulaski County, Golden Hubbard of Jackson County, Dealie Collins of Bowling Branch, and Jessie Ray Hubbard of Manchester; and by a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Bud was preceded in death by his brother, Tinsley Hubbard.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 2nd at Britton Funeral Home, with Kenny Smith and Junior Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, December 1st at Britton Funeral Home.
