LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that a land search is underway for Miley Alanaleigh Bailey, a missing juvenile with her dog. The Laurel Sheriff's Office along with Laurel County Department of Public Safety and London-Laurel Rescue Squad are on scene searching.

Danville, Kentucky Man Sentenced for Trafficking Fentanyl Resulting in Overdose Death

LEXINGTON, KY – The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that a Danville, Ky., man, Akili O. Simpson, 23, was sentenced on Friday, by Chief U.S. District Judge Danny Reeves, to 26 years in prison, for conspiracy to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl and distribution of fentanyl that resulted in death.

Kentucky Attorney General Coleman Announces Nearly 8,000 Naloxone Doses Arrive in First Shipment from Teva Settlement

FRANKFORT, KY – Attorney General Russell Coleman announced today nearly 8,000 doses of Naloxone – an opioid overdose reversal drug – have been delivered to distribution sites across Kentucky this week. The delivery is the first of four expected this year as part of a settlement with Teva Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
