VOTER REGISTRATION STRONG IN KENTUCKY FOLLOWING ELECTION

FRANKFORT, KY – Secretary of State Michael Adams announced that 17,056 Kentuckians have registered to vote since the reopening of voter rolls following the November 5 election. This includes 2,470 Kentuckians who submitted registrations from October 11th to 31st while the rolls were closed for the election.

Jessamine County Man Sentenced to 30 Years for Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Trafficking and Firearms Possession

FRANKFORT, KY (Friday, December 13, 2024) – A Nicholasville, Ky., man, Billy Wilkins, 44, was sentenced on Wednesday, to 360 months in prison, by U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, following his convictions for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

FRANKLIN, KY (December 13, 2024) – At approximately 2:00 pm the Kentucky State Police Post 3 received a call about a school threat from the suicide hotline. Kentucky State Police, Simpson County Sheriff's Office, and Franklin Police Department responded to all Simpson County Schools.
