LONDON, KY - London Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that Detective Wes Wolfe along with the LPD Special Investigation Unit arrested Brandon Morgan, age 35, and Taylor Joseph, age 21.
Officers were conducting a narcotics investigation and encountered the above subjects in a vehicle. Through the investigation, K-9 Abe was deployed and gave a positive indication. Officers then located suspected methamphetamine and a large quantity of suspected fentanyl.
The suspects, Brandon Scott Morgan and Taylor Alexis Joseph were taken into custody on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 and later transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Detective Wolfe is the investigating officer and was assisted on scene by Detective Landry Collett, Detective Josh Morgan, Sgt. John Inman, K-9 Sgt. Ryan Jackson, Officer Jordan Childers and Officer Bobby Jones.
Brandon Morgan was charged with:
- Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Fentanyl)
- Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1ste Offense (Drug Unspecified)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Taylor Joseph was charged with:
- Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center where they are currently being held at the time of this publishing.
