Fatal Collision Kentucky Highway 1039 in Gallatin County

GALLATIN COUNTY, KY – Kentucky State Police Post 5 was contacted by Gallatin County dispatch on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 8:18 p.m. in reference to a two vehicle collision on KY Highway 1039.  The collision occurred near the KY HWY 1039 intersection with Knox Lillard Road.

Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman has achieved another victory for Kentuckians. In January, Coleman announced a settlement to a years-long case that many of us doubted would see resolution. Not just that, but the proposed settlement provides hundreds of millions of dollars to our often-embattled public pensions system.
