MOUNT OLIVET, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that KSP Post 6, Dry Ridge received a call on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 12:26 p.m. concerning a deceased female on Brierly Ridge Road in Robertson County. Troopers responded to the property and confirmed the initial reports.

LEXINGTON, KY (Thursday, September 26, 2024) – A Lexington man, Vonnie McDaniels, 35, was found guilty on Wednesday, by a federal jury sitting in Lexington, of four counts of wire fraud, for fraudulently applying for three Small Business Administration (SBA) Covid-19 relief loans and for fraudulently applying to the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government’s (LFUCG) federally funded Housing Stabilization Program (HSP), a tenant rent relief program; two counts of aggravated identity theft for submitting tenant rent relief applications, pretending to be his tenants; six counts of money laundering; and two counts of committing an offense while on conditions of release. He was convicted following a three-day trial.
FRANKFORT, KY – Secretary of State Michael Adams announced that 24,536 Kentuckians registered to vote in September. The number, while the highest monthly total of the year, is down significantly from the same month in 2020, which saw 54,494 new voters register.
