SCOTTSVILLE, KY – On Saturday, April 13, 2024, at approximately 8:28 pm, the Kentucky State Police, Post 3 was notified by The Allen County Sheriff’s Office of a fatal collision at the intersection of U.S. 231 and East Old State Road in Allen County.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office Requested the Kentucky State Police lead the investigation.
The preliminary findings indicate that a 2019 Lincoln MKC, operated by Jeanette Carver of Scottsville, was eastbound on East Old State Road, and a 2017 Ford F-150, operated by Brian Copas of Scottsville, was traveling south on U.S. 231.
The Lincoln MKC was struck by the F-150 at the intersection of U.S. 231 and East Old State Road. Carver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Passengers from both vehicles were transported to Vanderbilt and Tri-Star Skyline in Nashville.
The collision is being investigated by Trooper Grant Robertson.
