Vandalism/Theft suspect arrested during MPD investigation

Manchester, Ky (November 26, 2019) - The Manchester Police Department is reporting that: In in the early A.M. hours on Sunday November 24, 2019, a string of vehicles were broken into and damaged. In addition, items were unlawfully removed from the vehicles.

Officer Wes Wolfe was the first to respond to the complaints. Officer Wolfe relayed the information to Lt. Taye Napier during shift change.

With Officer Wolfe's information, Lt. Napier and Officer Antonio Dodson investigated the incident, speaking with possible witnesses and victims throughout the night and early morning hours.

The investigation lead to Lt. Napier and Sgt Jeff Couch interviewing suspects on Monday November 25, 2019. The interviews lead to the arrest of Travis Box.

Charges are pending in reference to a juvenile believed to be involved in the incident. 

TRAVIS BOX 1

Travis Box age 20 was charged with:

  • Theft by Unlawful Taking contents from a motor vehicle over $500
  • Criminal Mischief 1st Degree
