FRANKFORT, KY  – To ensure emergencies and calls for service continue to be answered, the Kentucky State Police (KSP) is recruiting Kentuckians to apply to become KSP telecommunicators to serve as a ‘hero behind the headset.’

FRANKFORT, KY – Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced on Thursday, July 6, 2023 that a Grand Jury presentation by his Special Prosecutions Unit resulted in the indictment of Steven Sheangshang, 45, for the Murder of a Police Officer. According to the indictment, Sheangshang shot and killed Scott County Sheriff's Deputy Caleb Conley, while Deputy Conley was in the lawful performance of his duties.

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Noah Ritchie arrested two individuals on I–75 approximately 2 miles north of London after being dispatched to a complaint of two individuals apparently passed out in their vehicle on the right shoulder at the 42 mile marker southbound on Sunday morning July 2, 2023 at approximately 7:29 AM.
