CADIZ, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that: Trigg County Sheriff, Aaron Acree, has pleaded guilty following indictment after a KSP investigation uncovered multiple instances of misconduct and other offenses.

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY - The Rockcastle County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: Traffic safety Checkpoints will be conducted at the locations listed during the month of December, 2023 in an effort to remove Intoxicated drivers from the roadways.

Washington, D.C. - Director Christopher Wray has named Wayne A. Jacobs as the special agent in charge of the Philadelphia Field Office. He most recently served as special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office over the Criminal and Cyber division.  

FRANKFORT, KY— Unemployment rates rose in 31 counties between October 2022 and October 2023, fell in 59, and remained the same in 30 counties, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics (KYSTATS), an agency of the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet.  

ROANE COUNTY, TN – A woman whose remains were found in 1987 in Roane County has been identified as a result of a partnership between the Roane County Sheriff's Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Unidentified Human Remains DNA Initiative.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Lieutenant General Julius W. Becton Jr. He was a barrier-breaking leader, a model soldier, and a devoted public servant whose integrity and professionalism inspired countless Americans. He was the first Black commander of a U.S. Army corps, and he later served as the first Black director of the Federal Emergency Management Administration. He was also a mentor and a dear friend.
