IRVINE, KY – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that: KSP Post 7, Richmond was contacted just before 12:15 P.M., Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in reference to a single-vehicle collision on Dug Hill Road in Estill County.

LEXINGTON, KY — The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that: Two men who participated in a far-reaching conspiracy to launder drug proceeds were sentenced on Friday, by Chief U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves.  Anthony Scott Cossu, 29, of Olympia, Washington, was sentenced to 70 months in federal prison and ordered to forfeit $204,265.00 in money that was proceeds of drug trafficking.  Felipe Martinez, age 25, of Los Angeles, California, was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison and ordered to forfeit $347,828.00 that was drug proceeds.

Fayette County, Kentucky Man Sentenced to Prison for False Statements to U.S. Probation Office and Failure to Appear

LEXINGTON, KY — The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that, a Lexington, Ky., man, Charles E. Johnson, Jr., 62, was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison on Friday, by Chief U.S. District Judge Danny Reeves, for making materially false statements to the United States Probation Office and for failing to appear for a hearing while released on bond pending trial.
