FRANKFORT, KY – According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky, a Frankfort woman, Brittany Joyce May, 35, pleaded guilty on Thursday, before U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, to committing wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.

KSP DRUG TRAFFICKING ARREST OF A CORRECTIONAL OFFICER IN BOYLE COUNTY, KENTUCKY

BURGIN, KY  – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that on Friday, August 9, 2024, just before 8:00 A.M., KSP Post 7, Richmond received a call from the Northpoint Training Center requesting investigative assistance regarding a Correctional Officer suspected of bringing an illegal liquid substance, believed to be methamphetamine, into the facility.

Jury Recommends 20 Year Sentence after Oneida, TN Man Found Guilty of Murder in Death of London PD Officer Logan K. Medlock of Keavy, KY

BOWLING GREEN, KY- The Kentucky State Police and the Laurel County Attorney’s Office presented the case of Casey Preston Byrd, age 37, to the Warren County Circuit Court. Mr. Byrd was on trial for the death of London City Police Officer Logan K. Medlock.

New Jersey Man Sentenced for Money Laundering and Identity Theft in Scheme Linked to City of Lexington, Kentucky

LEXINGTON, KY –  The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that a North Bergen, N.J., man, Jean Mejia-Garcia was sentenced on Tuesday, by U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell, to 72 months, for conspiracy to commit money laundering and aggravated identity theft.  He was also ordered to pay $4,690,870.81 in restitution.
