She spent two decades in her career as an EMT, regularly laboring 96 hours or more each week, not only to provide a better life for her family, but also because she truly loved her work, co-workers, and her patients. Her work ethic, perseverance, and resilience was unmatched and her love of life was infectious. Her joyful, carefree attitude was evidenced every single day and though she often carried the weight of the world on her shoulders, you would never see her stumble nor her smile ever fade. The only thing that Deb took greater pride in than her work was her family. On her own, she raised her daughters and went on to play a monumental role in raising her grandchildren. She loved tirelessly and unselfishly and though the void she leaves is vast, the legacy she leaves is far greater.
