Jewell Dean Harris, age 85 departed this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at her home. She was born on Thursday, December 7, 1939 in Manchester, Kentucky to Jim and Lula (Harris) Harris. She was retired from American Greeting and was a member of the Manchester Gospel Mission.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 62 years: Cloyd Harris; her children: Michael Dean Harris and wife Renee, Tammy Lynn Hibbard and husband Roger; grandchildren: Anthony Glenn Hibbard and wife Holly, Bridgett Leanne Craft and husband Josh, Bryan Michael Harris, and Amanda Brooke Baker and husband Devon; these great grandchildren: Kashlyn Mikenn Reed, Alli Jane Reed, Drakelyn Porter Baker, Kennedy Annabelle Baker, Emma Rose Harris, Fletcher Allen Craft, Dean McCoy Craft, Jack Zander Hibbard and Paxon Blaze Hibbard. Also surviving is one sister and one brother: Gracie Hyde and husband Johnny, and Roy Lee Harris and wife Vicki.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Jim and Lula Harris; her sister and brothers: Dolly Sizemore, Charles Harris, Don Harris, Carl Harris, Lester Harris, Russell Gregory, and George Harris.
Funeral Services for Jewell Dean Harris will be conducted on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tess Lipps and Rev. Wade England will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
