Mr. Charles Stephen House, age 72 of the Hobbs Hollow Road departed this life on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his home.
He was born on Saturday, January 30, 1943 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of James Ballard and Catherine Goins House. He was a writer and a veteran of the United States Navy where he served during the Vietnam Era.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Nora House, his son: John House, his daughter: Sarah Greenlaw, and his grandchildren: Kayla Purdy and Jeremiah Purdy. Also surviving is his brother: Glenn C. House of Louisville, his nephews: Kevin House and Stephen Vaughn and his niece: Cathy Vaughn.
Mr. House is preceded in death by his parents: James Ballard and Catherine House and his sister: Loy Crane.
A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mr. Charles Stephen House will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 3 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Anne Shelby along with family and friends will be speaking at the service.
Visiting hours will begin at 1 PM on Saturday at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
