Vada Carol Wagers, 64, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, March 24th, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. Vada was born in Manchester, KY on February 11, 1961, a daughter of the late Denver "Joe" and Elizabeth "Omie" Gibson Henson. She was employee at Wal-Mart for 26 years, and enjoyed shopping, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Vada is survived by her husband, Lonnie Wagers; and her sons: Shane (Brooke Bryant) Wagers and Wesley (Danielle Sizemore) Wagers, all of Manchester.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Whittney (Westley) Brumley, Donavon (Mariah) Williams, Jeremiah Wagers, Conner Wagers, and Jayden Wagers; and her great-grandchildren: Noah Williams, Makenzie Williams, and Jayden Brumley, all of Manchester.
Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Wilma Henson, Elmer Gibson, Sharon Smith, Larry Joe Henson, Don (Robbie Gail) Henson, and Melinda (Frank) Mills; her brother-in-law, Roger Shepherd; her sister-in-law, Michele Henson; and by a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Vada was preceded in death by her brother and sister: Jerry Henson and Selena Shepherd; and by the following brothers-in-law: Herman Henson and Darrell Smith.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 27th at Britton Funeral Home, with Andrew Fultz and Don Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the Henson Cemetery on Lockards Creek.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26th at Britton Funeral Home.
