David Henson, 82, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 10th, at his home. David was born in Manchester, KY on November 28, 1941, a son of the late Sawyers and Marie Bowling Henson.
David is survived, Pauline Jackson Henson; and his children: Charles (Marlene) Henson, Russell (Lisa) Henson, Darrell (Amy) Henson, Conley Henson, Joyce (Teddy Stewart) Bradley, all of Manchester.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Woodrow Henson of Manchester, Lee Roy Henson of Manchester, Golden Henson of Ohio, Janet Mathis of London, and Rosie Smith of Manchester; and by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Sawyers Henson, Jr.; and his sisters: Rita Faye Hubbard, Eva Reid, and Beulah Smith.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 13th at Jacks Branch Bible Church, with Tim Reid, James Wagers, Ryan Smith, Charlie Hubbard, and Don Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at the Jackson Cemetery, KY.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 12th at Jacks Branch Bible Church.
