Becky Faye Boyd, 75, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, February 27th, at the AdventHealth Hospital in Manchester, KY. Becky was born in Manchester, KY on March 12, 1947, to Daugh and Sybil (Combs) Henson.
She was a wonderful and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to many. Becky loved the Lord and was a Christian. She loved spending time with family most of all. She also loved animals, and anyone who met her saw that she was a light in this world. She will be greatly missed.
Becky is survived by her daughters: Susan Boyd and boyfriend Sterling McDonald, and Tammy Boyd, both of Manchester.
She is also survived by two sisters: Flora Holland (Michigan) and Irene Jones (Indiana); by Michael, Charles, and Donnie Napier, whom she considered as sons, her grandchildren: Gary Boyd, Chris Hodges, Mariah Hodges, Hayden Boyd, Chere Reutan, and Bryan Boyd; and her great-grandchildren: Chase Boyd, Elijah Boyd, Scarlett Hodges, and Jaxon Houghton.
Becky was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Zeb (Tracy) Boyd, son Timothy Boyd, daughter Cathy Boyd, Bruce and Calvin Napier, whom she thought of as a sons; and sisters Edith Napier, Betty Henson, Bonnie Gilliam, Mary Magdalene Bowling, Cleo Henson, Delores Thomas, and Sara-Katherine Jones.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 4th at Britton Funeral Home, with Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Henson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 4th at Britton Funeral Home.
