Bill Stewart was born on August 29, 1955 in Laurel County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Russell Stewart and Edith Patterson Stewart.
He was united in marriage to Kim Hyde Stewart of Lily, Kentucky. He is also survived by four children, Deborah Burns and husband Kevin, Chassidy Turner and husband David all of London, Kentucky; Cayden Stewart of Lily and Crystal Helton and husband Michael of South Carolina; three siblings, Lorrine McQueen and husband Stanley of Lily; James Stewart and wife April and Donnie Patterson all of London; four grandchildren, Blake Burns (Skylar), Madison Turner, Maycee Turner, and Landen Turner plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He is also preceded in death by a sibling, Bobbie Stewart.
Bill was a heavy equipment operator and a minister. He was a member of New Harvest Church. Bill Stewart departed this life on Saturday, January 22, 2022 being 66 years, 4 months and 24 days of age.
Funeral services for Bill Stewart will be conducted at 2 PM Tuesday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Chassidy Turner officiating; burial will follow in Andes Cemetery in East Bernstadt.
The family of Bill Stewart will receive friends beginning at 12 Noon Tuesday until the funeral hour of 2 PM at Bowling Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Blake Burns, Junior Jarvis, Brett Weekly, Jarrod Stewart, Cody Adams and Rob McWilliams. Honorary Pallbearers will be SG Hyde, Foyster Cassidy, Floyd Burns and Mernie Bennett.
