Douglas Wayne Burns, age 60 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Doug was born August 18, 1961 in Hamilton, Ohio. He resided in Fairfield, Ohio his whole life.
Doug worked at GM in Fairfield, Ohio until he became a painter and that became his passion. He was a interior painter for the most of his life until he became disabled with many health issues.
Doug really enjoyed being outdoors with his favorite past time being fishing and boating. He was a very loving person who would help anyone that he could.
Doug is survived by his mother Lettie Sandlin Burns, his brother Charley Chuck Burns, Jr., his sister-in-law Melanie Sibert Burns, his nieces Trinity and Jacinda Burns, his nephew Charley Burns, his three great nieces: Steesha Burns, Delilah Wiser and Evey Burns, his great nephews: Seth Burns and Charley Burns, IV. He was preceded in death by his father Charley Burns, Sr.
He is a descendent of two large families: Delaney and Dolores Burns who had 11 children and Jake and Lucy Sandlin who had 12 children.
Funeral Services for Douglas Wayne Burns will be conducted on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sandlin Cemetery in the Greenbriar Community.
The family will receive friends and family after 12:00 PM on Monday at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
