Mr. Harold E. Skeens of Wooton, Kentucky was born August 06, 1943 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Raymond and Mollie Marie Vanover Skeens. Harold was a United States Veteran, he served honorably in the United States Army. Harold was united in marriage to Bonnie Fields on January 21, 1965 in Hyden, Kentucky. By occupation, Harold worked as a coal miner until becoming disabled.
He was an avid movie collector. He enjoyed fishing, UK Basketball, wood working and any kind of physical labor. Harold departed this walk of life on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the Hazard A.R.H. Medical Center. He was 76 years old.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by a brother, James Skeens.
Harold leaves behind, his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Bonnie Fields Skeens of Wooton, KY; two beloved children, Harold Skeens, JR. of South Carolina and Vickie Joseph of Wooton, KY; one brother-in-law he loved like a brother, Leroy Fields of Somerset, KY; three cherished grandchildren, Brian Joseph, Christopher Skeens and Christy Skeens; special nephew, David Skeens and special sister-in-law, Thelma Day.
Private funeral services for Mr Harold E. Skeens will be held at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Fields officiating. Interment will follow the services at the Harold Skeens Cemetery at Wooton, Kentucky.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
