Mr. Eddie Slusher, age 61, of Roark, KY, passed away December 31, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born June 25, 1958 in Beverly, Kentucky, the son of the late Silas Slusher, and Margie Goins Slusher who survives. Eddie worked as a coal miner before becoming disabled. He was an avid outdoorsman. He was married to Trilla Slusher on April 03, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his father, Silas Slusher, and a brother, Ricky Slusher.
Survivors include his wife, Trilla Slusher of Roark, Kentucky, his beloved mother, Margie Goins Slusher of Beverly, Kentucky, two children, Travis Bruce Slusher and wife, Melanie of Roark, Kentucky and Jani Gail Sizemore and husband, Zack of Corbin, Kentucky. Other survivors include one brother, Darrell Slusher and wife, Debbie of Beverly, Kentucky and sister-in-law, Londa Slusher of Beverly, Kentucky, along with four grandchildren, Lily Slusher, Mason Slusher, Jacob Slusher, and Jackson Slusher. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Lower Jacks Creek United Methodist Church, Roark, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Roark Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday after 6:00 PM
