Barbara Ann Sizemore, 63, of Barbourville, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 20th, at her home.
Barbara was born on November 18, 1955, a daughter of the late Elizabeth "Lizzy" (Swafford) and Joseph Hicks. She believed in Jesus Christ and was a member of the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Baxter Sizemore; and by her three daughters and son: Crystal Lee Winnes and husband Timmy of Barbourville, Brenda Gail Dunn and husband Bobby of Woolum, Beulah Ann Hatfield and husband Ralph of Barbourville, and Baxter Dwayne Sizemore and wife Cira of Barbourville.
Barbara is also survived by her 7 grandchildren: Deanna Smith, Kristin Smith, Brandy Smith, Brian Dunn, Bobbie Ann Dunn, Grace Hatfield and R.J. Hatfield; two great grandchildren: Emmett and Emyah; and by her two favorite dogs: Chocolate Rey and Sadie.
Also surviving are her sister and brothers: Beulah Mae Gray of Goose Rock, Charles Hicks and wife Cherye of Manchester, Billy Joe Hicks and wife Edna of Goose Rock and Howard Hicks and wife Patsy of Manchester; and by her two sisters-in-law: Lorene Hicks of London, KY and Janet Hicks of Goose Rock;
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers and sister: Homer Hicks, Harold Hicks and Gracie Keene; and her nephew, Marty Hicks.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 25th at Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church in Manchester, KY, with Nate Messer, Owen Smith, Lonnie Collett and Ricky Broughton officiating. Burial will follow in the Goose Rock Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 24th at the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church in Manchester, KY.
