Jewell Dean Holland, 73, of Barbourville, KY, passed away Monday, March 11th, at the Hazard ARH Hospital.
Jewell was born in Flat Creek, KY on September 1, 1945, a daughter of the late Pearl (Eversole) and Thomas Napier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Holland.
Jewell is survived by her son,Leonard Holland and wife Judy of Manchester.
Jewell is also survived by three sisters: Nancy Smith of Orlando, FL, Lou Ann Cardinal of Florida and Laura Jean Koenig; by five brothers: Lester Napier of Corbin, Robert Napier and wife Martha of London, Albert Napier of Arizona, Frank Napier and wife Janice of London and Israel Napier and wife Debbie of London; and by 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jewell was preceded in death by her son, Winfred Holland; and the following brothers and sister: Fred Napier, Denver Napier, Darrell Napier and Della Mae Taylor.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 16th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Dave Balmer and Charles Eversole officiating. Burial will follow at the Holland Cemetery on Sand Hill.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, March 15th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
