MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, Deputy Patrick Smith responded to a call into the Clay County Sheriff's Office of a male subject possibly intoxicated on Crawfish Road in Manchester.
Upon arrival at the complaint scene, Deputy Smith made contact with the subject identified as: Robert Brumley, age 40, and began an investigation.
The subject admitted to taking Suboxone and appeared to be impaired. Manchester PD Officer Antonio Dodson performed standard field sobriety tests on Brumley.
Mr. Brumley lacked smooth pursuit and was unsteady on his feet. It was determined that this individual was manifestly under the influence and was a danger to himself and/or others.
The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Detention Center.
Robert Brumley was arrested for:
- PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLL SUB (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL)
- TBUT OR DISP ALL OTHERS $1,000 < $10,000
This individual was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
