Leamon Smith, age 64 departed this life on Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was born on Saturday, December 19, 1953 in Manchester to Tole and Mary Katherine McDonald Smith. He was a coal truck driver and a member of the Holiness Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Nettie Goins Smith, his son: Shade Smith and his wife Kristy, his daughter: Brooke Smith and John Hensley, 2 grandchildren: Nathan Smith and Kaitlyn Smith and his loving dog: BoBo. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters: Earl Smith and his wife Martha, Amos Smith and his wife Della, Ellen Bays, Evelyn Smith, Jewelene Asher and her husband Callaway, Grover C. Smith, Gladys Edwards and Cleo Gilbert.He is preceded in death by his parents: Tole and Mary Katherine Smith, and his brothers and sisters: Irene Wombles, Lorene Smith, H. R. Smith and Pearl Smith.
A celebration of life for Leamon Smith will be conducted on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Brown and Rev. Frank Peters will be presiding. Interment will follow in the Jarvis-Goins Cemetery in the Pigeon Roost Community.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening after 6:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
