Harold Wayne Maxie, age 67, of Manchester, passed away Thursday, January 12th, 2017 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center.
He is survived by his wife, Geraline Maxie of Manchester, and the following children, Roy Wayne Maxie and wife Jeannetta, of Holly Hill, Florida, Brenda Maxie of Georgetown, Ohio and Callie Maxie of Manchester.
He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters, Arnold Maxie and wife Beulah, Rick Maxie and wife Sonya, Darrell Maxie and wife Lucy all of Manchester, Michael Maxie of London, Betty Hannon and Carolyn Wainscott of Indianapolis, Indiana and Bille Joyce Bargo and husband Boad of Barbourville. Also surviving are the following grandchildren Shondra Blades and husband Drew, Joseph Maxie, Aletha Jones and husband Davey, Brittney Saylor, Roger Saylor Jr.,II, Aaron Saylor, Hailey Maxie, Andrea Sandlin, Trenton Sandlin, Tanner Sandlin and Kylee Sams, and the following great grandchildren Trenton Jones and Vincent Warren Blades.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Callie Maxie, his brother and sister-in-law, Aurther "Sug" and Bonnie Maxie, and his brother Rowland Maxie.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, January 15th, 2017 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Stevens, Brad Stevens and David Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
