LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Robert Reed and Lieut. Chris Edwards investigated a single vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on KY 472 approximately 2 miles east of London on Thursday afternoon July 23, 2020 at approximately 1:10 PM.

Covid-19 self-quarantine / Stay at home, coronavirus prevention
FRANKFORT, KY – The Kentucky Department for Public Health (DPH) on Monday issued an advisory for Kentuckians who have traveled to states reporting high numbers of COVID-19. The advisory recommends a 14-day self-quarantine for travelers who went to any of eight states reporting positive testing rate equal to or greater than 15% for COVID-19 testing. The advisory also includes one state quickly approaching a positive testing rate of 15% and one U.S. Territory.
FRANKFORT, KY – Two men were sentenced on Thursday, July 16, 2020 to 21 months in federal prison and 3 years probation with 9 months served in a halfway house, respectively, for orchestrating a multi-year scheme to funnel more than $200,000 in secret, unlawful corporate contributions into a campaign for United States Senate and for causing the concealment of those contributions from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
