NEW FACIAL ILLUSTRATION RELEASED IN CLATSOP COUNTY, OREGON COLD CASE / PUBLIC ASSISTANCE SOUGHT TO IDENTIFY REMAINS FOUND IN 1999

CLATSOP COUNTY, OR (December 17th, 2024) – With the assistance of a new facial re-approximation from Parabon NanoLabs, a 25-year-old Oregon State Police (OSP) cold case is receiving new attention. Working closely with Oregon State Police Forensic Anthropologist Dr. Nici Vance, Parabon used the individual's genetic phenotype to create the latest illustration.

Judge J. Christopher McNeill named Deputy Chief Judge of Court of Appeals

FRANKFORT, KY (Dec. 16, 2024) – Court of Appeals Judge J. Christopher McNeill is the new deputy chief judge of the Court of Appeals. Court of Appeals Chief Judge Larry E. Thompson appointed Judge McNeill, who will begin serving in the role Jan. 1, 2025. The deputy chief judge provides administrative oversight to the Court of Appeals in the chief judge’s absence.
