ALLEGED SUICIDAL MAN ARRESTED IN CLAY COUNTY, KY AFTER HOME OWNER FINDS HIM INSIDE HER RESIDENCE AND CALLS POLICE

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that on Saturday, November 23, 2024, Deputy Dustin Henson arrested William Sizemore.

Clay County Sheriff 175Deputy Henson responded to a complaint call through Clay County Dispatch regarding an individual who was allegedly suicidal and sleeping on the couch inside the caller's residence and refusing to leave.

Upon arrival at the scene, Deputies made contact with a male subject identified as William Sizemore, age 54, who was talking out of his head, being very belligerent and cursing at the female home owner.

During the investigation, the home owner stated that at around 8:00 a.m. that morning she had walked into her home and lied down in her bed. She stated that when she woke up, she found Sizemore lying down on her couch. The home owner also stated that Sizemore was stating he was suicidal.

Sizemore was medically cleared on scene and was placed under arrest without incident.

William Sizemore was arrested for:

  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE
  • CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE
  • FAILURE TO APPEAR

This individual was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
