Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Shawn Jackson investigated a single vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on Rough Creek Road, approximately 7 miles east of London on Friday night June 15, 2016 at approximately 11:33 PM.
The investigating deputy reports that apparently a 1998 Chevrolet pickup dropped off the right side of the roadway and the driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to travel out of control, spin around and overturn on its top off the roadway.
The driver was identified as Joseph Sears age 19 of Chance Rd., London – transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries.
The passenger was identified as Joe Mobley age 18 of London – apparently not injured.
Assisting at the scene of the crash with patient care and scene safety was Bush Volunteer Fire Department.
