Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Brett Reeves along with Deputy Josh Scott and Deputy John Inman arrested Asharay Christian age 24 of Clover Bottom Rd., London on Monday morning July 4, 2016 at approximately 11:50 AM.
The arrest occurred off Clover bottom Road, approximately 2 miles south of London after this subject was charged with being a fugitive from Nashville Tennessee wanted by Nashville Metro PD on charges of reckless endangerment – motor vehicle and vandalism $1000 or more but less than $10,000.
These charges allege that this subject was a passenger in a motor vehicle on May 7, 2016 near Nashville when she intentionally grabbed the steering wheel causing the driver to lose control, run off the roadway and crashed disabling the vehicle.
Nashville Metro PD advised they will extradite this person back to Nashville to answer to the charges.
This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
