BURGIN, Ky. — On June 14, 2016, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by KSP Post 7- Richmond, arrested Warren C. Stratton, 35, on charges related to distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
Stratton was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. Stratton distributed images of sexual acts involving children.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Stratton’s residence in Burgin on June 14, 2016. Equipment was seized and is pending a forensic examination.
Stratton is currently charged with 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Each charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison. Additional charges are expected.Stratton was lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center.
