SCOTTSVILLE, KY (February 02, 2025) – Just before 5:00 pm, the Kentucky State Police Post 03 was contacted by the Allen County Sheriff's Office requesting assistance with a fatal collision. Troopers arrived on scene at the 3400 block of Franklin Road.
A preliminary invetigation indicates that a 2001 Toyota Corolla operated by Charles Julian Jr, 44, of Scottsville, was traveling west on Franklin Road. Mr. Julian's vehicle crossed the center line entering the path of a 1989 Ford Mustang operated by David Parker, 40, of Franklin. Mr. Julian was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Allen County Coroner. Mr. Parker was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center where he is being treated for his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and will be led by Trooper Landon Key. He was assisted at the scene by Allen County Sheriff's Office, Allen County EMS, Allen County Coroner's Office and other KSP personnel.
