Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Shawn Jackson investigated an injury traffic crash involving a red colored Pontiac G6 on US 25 approximately 3 miles south of London on October 18, 2015, at approximately 5:28 AM.
Deputies investigating the crash determined that the vehicle had ran off of the roadway striking several trees. The driver was transported to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of injuries.
Deputies determined that the driver was under the influence and charged the driver with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and no operator's license.
The driver was identified as Jordan Cannon, age 24, of Blossom Hill Dr., Corbin.
The driver was cited to Laurel District Court due to injuries from the traffic crash and has a November court date in Laurel District Court.
