Vehicle with 2 year old inside leaves Road & destroys Mailboxes, a Trash Container, then goes through an Electric Fence

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Mike Ashurst along with Deputy Brandon Broughton and Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested an East Bernstadt man early Wednesday morning March 4, 2015 12:12 A.M..

Arrested was Kyle Robinson age 29 on Mount Zion Road, East Bernstadt, KY.

The arrest occurred on KY 490 approximately 8 miles north of London after deputies responded to a non-injury traffic crash that occurred there.

Upon arrival deputies learned that a white colored Chevrolet Silverado had left the roadway traveling into a ditch line, destroying three mailboxes, a trash container, and traveled through an electric fence, crossed the roadway and struck an embankment.

Deputies conducted an investigation on the driver determining that he was under the influence. Deputies also noted that this subject had his two-year-old daughter inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Kyle Robinson was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense; and endangering the welfare of the minor and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
