CAMPBELLSBURG, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting an investigation into the death of an unresponsive woman found Wednesday laying in the parking lot of the Campbellsburg Dollar General Store.
Post 5 Troopers and Detectives responded to a 911 call at 6:29 am on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Upon arrival, investigators located a woman who was found to be unresponsive. The Henry County Coroner pronounced Rebecca Skeen, age 56, of Smithfield, deceased at the scene.
The cause of death has yet to be determined and is pending further investigation.
This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by KSP Post 5.
KSP Post 5 detectives and troopers were assisted on scene by Henry County EMS and the Henry County Coroner.
