COURTHOUSE IN LONDON, KY REOPENED, NO THREAT(S) DETECTED BY KSP K-9 BOMB DOG

LONDON, KY- The Laurel County Sheriff's Office reported on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 12:32 P.M. that: The Kentucky State Police K-9 bomb dog has cleared the courthouse, nothing was found. The courthouse is reopening, and roadways around the courthouse have reopened.

LONDON, KY -  Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: A bomb threat has been emailed to a media outlet on Monday morning. Please avoid the courthouse area as first responders are securing the area and conducting a search of the building.

A bomb detector dog is enroute to the scene. As soon as the building has been cleared, the courthouse will reopen. An update will be posted here when that occurs.
