LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Reed along with Deputy Matt Walker arrested Mark Westfelt age 39 of London on Thursday afternoon July 18, 2024 at approximately 3:50 PM.
The arrest occurred off Gumm Road, approximately 5 miles northwest of London after Mark A. Westfelt was charged on eight outstanding warrants including:
A Laurel District Court complaint warrant of arrest obtained by Laurel Sheriff's Detective Robert Reed charging:
- Motor vehicle dealer required to give title to purchaser
In addition, Westfelt was charged on:
- A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court regarding child support
- A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to pay fines regarding registration and insurance violations
- A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on registration and insurance violations
- A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on insurance and registration violation
- A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court regarding charges of operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
- A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court for arraignment regarding charges of operating on suspended or revoked operator's license, registration and insurance violations
- A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court for arraignment on charges of operating on suspended or revoked operator's license and registration violations.
