LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Frankie Howard age 18 of Corbin on Friday evening June 14, 2024 at approximately 6:09 PM.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Deputy Roberts was dispatched by London–Laurel County 911 Communications Ctr. to a in alleged shoplifter complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Roberts conducted an investigation speaking with loss prevention and learned that allegedly this individual concealed items in her purse and backpack and attempted to leave the store without paying.
Total value of the theft was $193.88.
Frankie Howard was charged with:
- Theft by unlawful taking
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
