LONDON, KY - On Monday, April 15, 2024 at approximately 10:01 am, Sgt. Troy Truett arrested Linda Brown, age 65 of London, KY.
Sgt. Truett had received a call on a possible intoxicated driver and responded to the area. Sgt.
Truett located the vehicle and noted that it crossed the center line multiple times and conducted a traffic stop.
After making contact with the operator, identified as Brown, she showed several signs of impairment. Sgt. Truett requested that Brown undergo Standard Field Sobriety Tests, and upon completion, determined that Brown was under the influence.
Brown was placed under arrest without incident and later lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Sgt. Truett was assisted on scene by Officer Andrew Lawson.
Linda Brown was charged with:
- Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence of Controlled Substance - 1st Offense
- Disregarding a Stop Sign
