LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston along with Detective Taylor McDaniel arrested Sky Polly age 29 of London on Thursday morning April 18, 2024 at approximately 9:51 AM.
The arrest occurred on Ponderosa Drive, approximately 4 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a male and female subject allegedly involved in a domestic situation along the roadway there.
When deputies arrived in the vicinity of the complaint they located the two individuals apparently involved.
It was determined through investigation that Sky Polly had created a disturbance by cursing and creating a disturbance in the residential neighborhood there.
Also, it was determined that Polly had three outstanding warrants.
Upon arrest Polly was asked if she had anything that would poke or stick deputies and she replied no. However, this individual was found with a needle concealed on her person.
Sky Polly was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting
Also, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Cash bond to apply to child support
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
