OWENSBORO, KY — Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that Troopers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Maple Street in Owensboro at around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
KSP troopers located in the Residence :
- Large bags of suspected methamphetamine
- Counterfeit Percocet pills believed to be Fentanyl
- Synthetic marijuana
- Marijuana
- Ammunition
- Scales
- Various forms of drug paraphernalia
The suspect, Jamal D. Huggins, 36, of Owensboro, KY was arrested, transported and lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.
Jamal Huggins was charged with:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense-Methamphetamine (greater than 2 grams)
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, (Fentanyl)
- Trafficking in Synthetic Drugs 1st Degree
- Possession of a Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Huggins was transported and lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.
