FRANKFORT, KY (Feb. 7, 2024) – Attorney General Russell Coleman released the following statement today on the passing of LaDonna Koebel, executive director of the Attorney General’s Office of Senior Protection:
“We grieve the loss of a superb public servant and a treasured friend. In her nearly two decades in state government, LaDonna Koebel made our Commonwealth safer and more welcoming for every family who calls it home. She brought a unique mixture of compassion and tenacity to protecting Kentuckians, especially our seniors. As a result, she was an extraordinarily effective leader and a trusted colleague.
“Although I didn’t have the chance to work with LaDonna for long, I am grateful for lasting contributions to the Attorney General’s office and our Commonwealth. Ashley and I share our sincere condolences with her husband Follace, their daughter Lauren and all of her family and friends."
