LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Enoch Smith age 32 of London on Thursday morning March 13, 2025 at approximately 6:39 AM.
The arrest occurred off East Laurel Road, approximately 1 mile east of London after Deputy Roberts was dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a complaint of a male subject being noticed by school officials pacing back and forth near an elementary school with a sword.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Roberts determined that the individual there, identified as Enoch G. Smith, age 32 of London, KY was wanted on two outstanding warrants. Smith was taken into custody and transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Enoch Smith was charged on a Laurel District Court complaint warrant of arrest charging:
- Terroristic threatening – third-degree
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
