NICHOLASVILLE, KY — The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) has been requested by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Monday night November 20, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m. EST in Nicholasville.
The CIRT arrived on the scene and began an investigation into the incident.
A male subject was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Jessamine County Coroner.
KSP has statewide jurisdiction and investigates officer-involved shootings throughout the Commonwealth as requested by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
